2024 CAMPAIGN: “The World Around Us”
HHGTF MEMBERSHIP
Our paid membership has stayed strong throughout the years, it is wonderful to see how many individuals, not just from Highland Heights, but also from surrounding cities and even a few from Cuyahoga Falls have remained members over the years! 2024 is the beginning of our 14th year! The HHGTF certainly could not have made such a positive difference without your help. So, again, thank you everyone!!!!
Presentation on the Poper Disposal of Special Waste
On February 7th Matt Walters, Recycling Programs Coordinator with Cuyahoga County Solid Waste District, gave our full house audience an excellent presentation on the Proper Disposal of Special Waste (think hazardous waste!) I am sure I speak for everyone in the room that we all learned more than just one thing from his talk! If anyone has questions along the lines of what should and should not go into the hazardous waste collection, or the proper disposal of other items, Matt said to contact him!
Recycling reminders:
GLASS RECYCLING BIN: Please remember to rinse your jars and bottles before putting them in the bin. Also only glass, not lids or plastic bags.
ALUMINUM CAN RECYCLING: Just a reminder that there is a location in the back of the fire department for depositing your
bagged (and rinsed) cans, for the children’s burn unit.
